About Forugh Vazirisani

Forugh Vazirisani has graduated in medical laboratory science, earning a licentiate degree in Microbiology at Gothenburg University. She received her PhD at University of Gothenburg, Institute of Odontology in 2008 with the thesis "Molecular and cellular control of palate development in the mouse". She has currently a post-doc position at the Department of Biomaterials.

Research interests:
•Characterization of Bacterial membranevesicles
•Interaction between cells with special focus on membranevesicles
•Functional effect of membranevesicles on immunecells
